When in Palm Springs, eat what Mulligan eats

It’s not often that I get the opportunity to feature two former Spokane residents at once. But that’s exactly what I can do right now.

The opportunity comes thanks to Leslie Kelly, the former food writer at The Spokesman-Review who both co-writes the weekly Going Mobile column and is a regular contributor to Forbes.com .

Kelly, who is spending an extended stay in Palm Springs, met up in that California city with another former Spokanite, Tim Mulligan. A graduate of Washington State University, Mulligan earned a law degree at the Gonzaga University School of Law.

Mulligan,  who is now the chief human resources officer for BEN , owns a home in Palm Springs. Besides being both a playwright and a cookbook author , Mulligan knows his way around his town. And he was happy to play guide to Kelly.
