It ain’t easy being not-so-cheesy

Here’s what I’ve noticed about going cheese-free: it’s hard.
When I go out, being cheese-free means I have to order things I wouldn’t ordinarily go for. It means I can’t have a grilled-cheese sandwich or a pizza or a cheeseburger. Being cheese-free means I order things flavored with veggies and spices instead of a creamy dairy product.
It means I eat a Thai Chicken Rice Bowl for lunch instead of Mac & Cheese at the Saranac Public House .
Being cheese-free means I’m broadening my horizons by limiting one of my favorite things. Huh. How do you like them apples?
