Cartoonist David Horsey opens our collective eyes to a recurring Republican Party nightmare— the continuing evolution of extremist right-wing based theories that, upon close examination, bear no basis in fact. It is almost as if someone is saying, ‘Don’t upset the apple cart with real, provable facts’ sometimes.

Are they ruining the Republican Party or are they, on the other hand, attracting a new generation of wingnuts with theories of their own?

That seems like a fair question for an otherwise fine Saturday morning, does it not?
