It's fun to have a visitor from the Midwest and be reminded while driving around town that, whatever else Spokane might or might not be, it most assuredly is not flat.

It's easy to take that for granted.

Though perhaps it is more of an asset or at least pleasing diversion on a day like today than, say, in January or February.
