Charting Spokane’s four seasons

I can’t prove it. But I suspect that if you asked Spokane area residents to express the relative lengths of our four seasons as a pie chart or whatever, the results would vary wildly.

To hear some people talk, you would think Spokane’s winters are six months long. Or that summer lasts just six weeks.

Of course, one year isn’t always just like the next. But if we agreed that we are talking about objective averages, what would your pie chart look like?
