The Slice

Favorite phone message from my week off

It was from a woman who apparently held her phone in the direction of her neighbor's place and recorded the sounds of a rooster crowing.

The time stamp on the call is 5:41 a.m.

The caller said she lives in the city. She described the rooster's early morning vocalizing as "unnecessary," which was an interesting way to put it.

I don't know if she has discussed the situation with her neighbor. But if she has, something tells me talks have broken off.
