Board games and tabletop games are fun boiled down to their basic components. In this blog we are here to figure out which games are packed full of good solid fun. Hope you enjoy my reviews and I look forward to hearing your responses.

Good morning everyone, my name is Andy and I'll be blogging about board and tabletop games for the Tech Deck. I will provide a brief review of a particular game and whether or not I recommend the game. On occasion I will post about movies, video games, or whatever boats my float. If you have any questions or requests for games feel free to comment and ask. We’re here to have fun and enjoy the pastime.

Quick background: I have been playing games all my life, started with board games as a little kid playing Legos. When I grabbed some monopoly dice and turned it into a turn based war game. I’ve been playing tabletop RPG’s for 14 years now, starting with my Dad and his college buddies. I’ve been on the ground floor of several indie game development teams. I love all kinds of games and I want to share my love with the world.

Getting a group of friends and/or family together for drinks, snacks and a couple solid board games can be an amazing experience. Each game is different some fun and silly, others very serious and drawn out. It’s important to think about each one before a purchase. Though I am convinced there’s a board/tabletop game out there for everyone you just have to find it.

Overall, my plan is to review each game/book seen in the image above. If you see one that you want reviewed sooner, please let me know and I will work on that one.
