Wednesday night = Live Music Night at Tonicx

No cover. Cold drinks. Great music. The place was packed at 7:30. On a Wednesday.

Music runs from 7-10 and the lineup changes each week. Last night it was our friend Jim Elvidge and Dayan Kai. They were awesome, as usual. Tonicx is just that side of tiny, which doesn’t leave a lot of room for players to set up. I’m guessing there’s a three-musician maximum, but that might change once summer comes and the side doors are rolled up.

The bar’s smallish size means there isn’t a bad seat in the house. It also means the music permeates every nook and cranny, so save your long, meaningful conversations for set breaks.
