Keeping the gift count..

How do you decided how much to buy your kids for the holidays? Is it a set dollar amount or a set amount on the number of gifts?
With 4 boys we give them 2 gifts each plus they get thier stocking from Santa. I also buy family gifts, games,puzzles,family movies and special treats for us to share as a family..my kids don’t need more toys but we can always use family time together.
Do you feel overwhelmed at the gift buying? Do you feel your kids ask for too much? Do they get spoiled with lots of gifts by other relatives?
