Last-minute Christmas checklist

Parents: I need your help.

I’d like to write a story for Christmas Eve that’s essentially a last-minute checklist for parents to make sure Christmas runs smoothly.

What are the little things you always forget and wind up sending your husband to the convenience store for late on Christmas Eve?

— Batteries for the toys?
— Tools to assemble them?
— Cookies for Santa?
— Carrots for the reindeer?
