Democrats disregard majority

The Spokesman-Review

It is becoming obvious that the Democratic majority does not care what a majority of the voting public feels about the federal government getting into the health and medical care business. Take a look at how they have handled other programs.

In less than two months, they have shown they are unable to handle even a simple program which pays people to trade in junkers. Can you imagine what would happen if they were running the trillion-dollar medical insurance program?

In my opinion, Obama wants amnesty for all illegal aliens. On June 25, Obama convened an “immigration summit,” made up of “lawmakers” who support amnesty. Obama wants this to happen, even though, by all polls, a large majority oppose amnesty.

Whenever Congress starts talking about immigration and amnesty, there is a spike in illegal entries into the country. The last thing we need is to have more aliens taking already scarce jobs away from American workers.

Obama also wants to restrain talk radio. The mainstream media merely support Obama’s position, no matter what it is. At least with talk radio we hear the other side.

I don’t believe that very many of us want total control in Washington, D.C.
