Movie stuff clutters my mind

Memory is a strange thing. There I was at breakfast this morning rattling off some of the movie trivia that clutters my mind. Such as:

What was the name of Gene Autry’s horse? Champion.

Who was Autry’s sidekick? Pat Buttram.

Who directed “Unforgiven”? Cint Eastwood.

What popular crooner’s ex-wife shot her ski-instructor boyfriend? Andy Williams’ ex, Claudine Longet, shot her ex-boyfriend Spider Sabich . The crime was later lampooned on “Saturday Night Live” as the “Claudine Longet Invitational Ski Shoot.”

My mind is filled with a lot of useless crap. On the way home, though, my friend John Brennan asked me if I’d heard the latest about Mitch McConnell .

“Who?” I asked.

“You’re kidding,” he said.

“No,” I said. “Who is he?”

The minority leader of the senate, that’s who.

Sure, but who played him in the movie?
