Stand up against spending

The Spokesman-Review

I just want to say thank you to the Republicans, including our Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, for standing firm against the stimulus bill. It is bad legislation and it is unfortunate that our two senators didn’t see it that way.

I have written to both of them and told them that it is like saying you “need” to buy a car and go to the dealer and tell them that you want to buy a $25,000 car and the dealer adds $10,000 of extras on the car that you don’t need or want and then you pay the $35,000 for it because you “need” it.

It is crazy what is going on in Washington, D.C. Keep the faith, Republicans, and remain on the side of the American taxpayer.
