Spokane filmmaker makes awards finals
My friend Nancy Malone, one of the online editors at The Spokesman-review, sent me a press release regarding Spokane filmmaker Megan Schuyler’s most recent honor. Schuyler, codirector with her sister Mallory of the “The Wizard Rockumentary: A Movie About Rocking and Rowling,” is also codirector of the short film “One Single Bucket” (with Diana Opong-Parry).
“One Single Bucket,” a documentary short about water conservation, is one of six finalists in the 2009 Intelligent Use of Water Film Competition. The competition, which is cosponsored by Questex Media Group and FilmL.A., rewards films that best portray the need for responsible water use.
Schuyler and Opong-Parry will be flown to L.A. for the Sept. 23 awards ceremonies at The Getty Center. For more information about the competition, click here . To see Schuyler’s film, click on the imbed below.
