By the way, some sources are wondering whether “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” will outgross the record-holder, 2002’s “Spider-man,” which earned an astounding $114,844,116 in just three days.

If you watch HBO’s “Entourage,” you know that “Aquaman” was supposed to have broken that record. But then that fictional film was supposed to have been directed by James Cameron. I like Gore Verbinski, but he’s no James Cameron.

What’s your guess? The person who comes closest will take home the new Special Edition DVD of Taylor Hackford’s 1984 film “Against All Odds.”
