Talent does run in the family … sometimes

Ashlee Simpson, sister of “Dukes of Hazzard” and recording star Jessica Simpson , stars in “Undiscovered,” a film about a group of performers trying to make it in Los Angeles, which opens Friday across the nation.

By the way, here are some other actors whose stars are dimmed a bit by their more famous siblings: Clint Howard, Frank Stallone, Christopher Penn, Billy (Daniel and Stephen) Baldwin, Casey Affleck, Beau Bridges, Kieran (Rory and Quinn) Culkin, Joaquin Phoenix, Damon (Marlon and Shawn) Wayans, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Brian-Doyle and Joel Murray, Eric Roberts, Joey and Ellen Travolta, Donny Wahlberg, Luke Wilson (but only slightly) and Ashley Judd (ibid).
