Kite Runner’ and more to open Friday

I received the following e-mail this morning:

“Dan: Do you know when ‘Kite Runner’ will be playing in Spokane? I was in Seattle last weekend, and it’s been there for a few weeks.

“Curious. – Mary Kay Anderson”

The answer: “The Kite Runner” will open in Spokane on Friday, exclusively at the AMC River Park Square Theatres. “The Orphanage,” a Spanish-language horror film, also will open there.

Meanwhile, the Magic Lantern will open “I’m Not There,” Todd Haynes’ imaginative look at the life and legend of Bob Dylan.
