Remember: Some loves never leave you
Just received an e-mail from my old San Diego buddy Bill Devlin, now a resident of Portland, who had this to say about the YouTube short that I posted below:

. I found myself chuckling ‘way down deep and low’ as memories of those first stumbling, bumbling attractions, boiling yearnings and deep-ember-glow passionate burnings arose in me so many years ago. So vulnerable, so terribly self-conscious, so easily crushed…
“All the while learning the impossible necessity of hope, the frighteningly powerful hunger for passionate connection – for the selfishness and selflessness of love.
Linda Longshore, I still love you!”
To which I will add the names of Sharon Abernathy, Margie Thomas, Flora Yoro and, of course, Terry Cornett - all lost loves of my own youth.
Below: Young love is sweetly inspiring, made even more profound when it passes - as it so often does.
