Where is Juan Valdez when we need him?
Everyone has a blog these days. Some read like Dear Diaries. Others work like clearing houses for anyone who has an opinion. As with any range of product, many deserve to be ignored. Others, though, can actually teach you something. One of the more intriguing ones that I just ran across belongs to a guy named Frank Zeccola , a San Francisco Bay Area freelance writer.
Here’s what Frank taught me: An Oakland, Calif., neurologist named James Baker has filed suit against Starbucks . Baker, Zeccola reports, “now claims he has evidence that Starbucks is in fact using illegal chemicals similar to morphine and heroin which react with the brain to boost stimulation – and to boost Starbucks in competition with other coffee manufacturers.”
So that’s why I crave my double 12-ounce
Americano
split-shot each and every morning.
