My head is still spinning

We just finished watching Avatar here at home. (I know, I’m probably like, one of the last three people on Earth who hadn’t seen it yet.) Holy cow. It. Was. Awesome. Incredible message. Astounding effects. And, come on, tell me you didn’t find those blue people incredibly sexay.

But, as nice as the picture is on our HDTV, I couldn’t help lamenting (aloud, of course) how bummed I was that I hadn’t seen it on the big screen.

Sometimes the Universe has a way of making everything all right.

Turns out the Garland Theatre (home of the $4.75 bottomless popcorn) is still showing James Cameron’s incredible journey to the center of Pandora, on Saturday, at 2 and at 7:10 (for only $3.50!).

I am totally laying down a prayer of thanks at the Tree of Souls.
