More fun than you can shake a s’more at

I don’t know anything more about this event than what you’ll see on the Facebook page link , but it sounds like fun. It also seems like a pretty easy way to check one summer must-do (take the kids camping) off your list without leaving town or the comforts of home (flush toilets and a grocery store within walking distance, mainly).

Hot dogs and hamburgers for dinner. A movie (Brother Bear). A night spent snoozing under the stars. And a pancake breakfast to greet you when you rub the fresh-air sleep from your eyes. Totally worth the back ache you’ll get from sleeping on the ground. Really.
