Just in time for the heat wave … Doyle’s is back in business!

Throughout my childhood, Grandma Dore lived in a sweet little bungalow in the West Central neighborhood. And on sultry summer days there was nothing better than walking to Doyle’s Ice Cream for a heat-busting helping of frozen sweet goodness.

With temperatures climbing back into the 90s this week, you can bet your bippy I’ll be ordering a double scoop before the week’s over. How about you?
