A procrastinator’s playground
If you’re like me, and God help you if you are, you wait until the very last possible minute to begin and subsequently end your Christmas shopping. I don’t know how it happens, but it does – every year. I have every intention of starting well before Thanksgiving, but then something gets in the way … holiday parties, trips to tropical islands, Christmas Story marathons on TNT … almost without warning it’s December 23 and I have nothing to show for it but a beer belly, a couple extra freckles and some great one-liners.
Lucky for me, and all my peeps in procrastination, there’s a place in mid-town that can make all our last-minute Christmas wishes come true: The General Store.
Even if your shopping list looks like this, you’ll be just fine.
- Turkey baster
- Bellows
- Food Dehydrator
- Moccasins
- Pontoon
- Carburetor
- Money clip
- Fly rod
- Toilet plunger
- Bib overalls
A trip through the aisles (warning: it might take a while, there are A LOT of aisles) and you’ll be able to cross everything off your list, head home, wrap it all up and wake up Christmas morning looking like a do-it-all diva.
Oh, and how about this Christmas Miracle? The General Store’s Midnight Madness sale runs tonight between 6 and midnight. They’ll have special drawings for outrageous prices on particular items, and hourly specials all night long. Click here for all the details.
On your mark, get set … shop ‘til you drop. Or until the store closes.
You’ll find the General Store at 2424 N. Division.
