Local landmarks get some love

Tricia Jo Webster

We’re kicking off our latest Fabulocity photo contest this week and we want to see photos of you sharing space with a favorite local landmark.

Not sure what qualifies as a local landmark? That’s easy! Anything that, if you saw it on a postcard, would totally make you say (in whichever tone you choose – astonished, snarky, amused), “OMG. That is soooooo Spokane!”

Clock Tower.

Milk Bottle.

Doomsday Hill.

Garbage Goat.

Double Whammy.

And you. (Or a close friend, family member or random squirrel. Whatever. Just so long as we instantly know we’re looking at a photo of something Spokane, and someone who’s paid that particular spot a visit.)

Paw through family albums for treasured memories, or spend the first half of the summer creating new postcard-worthy moments. Then send us your faves. A handful of locals will laugh and groan and make jokes at your expense while judging your submissions. But it’s all worth it, because this time Huckleberry’s is rewarding our winner with a $25 gift certificate and we’ll sweeten the pot with an amazing selection of 7 merchandise.

You have until July 26. Can’t wait to see what you come up with.

Click here to get to the photo submission page.
