Parties not there for public

Yup, things are going about as expected these last two years.

The “Republicans” (AKA the No-Longer-Really-Republican-At-All Party, Second Amendment excluded) totally ignored what the voters desired, as indicated by the 2008 election results. It seems blatantly obvious that this party was/is much more interested in supporting the self-serving and divisive issues of a rabid minority than doing what was/is desperately needed for the whole country.

The “Democrats” (AKA the Now-Closer-To-The-Traditional- Republican-Party Party, Second Amendment excluded) are simply not doing their job. Why?

They failed to resolutely/decisively introduce, control and pass whatever legislation this nation needed to put it back on track – without any “Republican” support if necessary. The wusses are whining about it too, feeling sorry for themselves about how the “Republicans” aren’t playing fair by following the voters’ implicit/explicit desires. In today’s vernacular: Well, DUH! Whatdidja expect?

In retrospect, the “Republicans” seem to have managed to completely lay the blame on the “Democrats” for everything the “Republicans” fouled up from 2000 to 2008. We should ask here: Was this simply brilliant strategy on the part of the “Republicans,” the ineffectiveness/spinelessness of the “Democrats,” or the ignorance/apathy/gullibility of this nation’s electorate – or all the above?
