I’m sorry. I thought you were someone else.

We’re running another photo contest on Spokane7. This time we’re asking you to send us shots of you and your celebrity (or someone utterly unfamous) lookalike. Could be your Aunt Milly. Your barista. Or your favorite star of the silver screen.

If you have the capability, Photoshop you and your double into the same photo and send it to us. If you’re like me, and have no idea who your resemble, do what I did – visit MyHeritage.com

You upload a photo and the program runs a facial recognition scan on your face. Then it spits out 10 or so headshots of celebrities who look like you. Don’t like the first round of doppelgangers? Upload another shot and do it all over again.

Depending on which photo I upload, I resemble anyone from Kate Winslet to Steve Buscemi; from Jackie Chan to Glen Close; from Dave Matthews to Jane Goodall. In other words, these are loose interpretations, but intriguing all the same.

The program lets you create collages of you and your celebrity twins, and even lets you post the montage of mugs to your blog or Facebook, or send it out via email.

So, what do you think? Could I stand in as a double for any of these celebs? If the lights were really dim and I was wearing sunglasses and a hat?
