Another example of modern English
I’m a big fan of the Urban Dictionary , which is a kind of Wikipedia of contemporary English in that it documents words that come and go faster than smartphone software. In looking up what it had to say about the term “treeware,” I encounted a definition that caused me to laugh out loud (or LOL, if you prefer).
