You could have a big night every afternoon
When Spokane7.com changes in the next week or so, I’ll be writing about more than movies in this space. Of course, everything that happens, in life as well as here, relates somehow to movies. So …
… take the fact that earlier today my wife and I had a late lunch at Huckleberry’s Natural Market. Mary Pat had a great bowl of chicken-and-rice soup, and I had a bleu-cheese buffalo burger. Now, forget the fact that service at Huckleberry’s has never the place’s strong suit. But if you don’t mind waiting – and the occasional order screwup – you might enjoy the food. If you eat chicken and buffalo, that is. Vegetarians can find any number of veggies to nosh on, too.
So where’s the movie reference? Eating at Huckleberry’s isn’t exactly, mmmmm, “Babette’s Feast.” Eating there, though, even in the afternoon could be your … wait for it … “Big Night.”
