No ‘Marilyn” until Christmas

Finally, after a couple of weeks delay, we’ll get to see “My Week With Marilyn,” the film starring Michelle Williams as the mid-20th Century’s greatest sex symbol, Marilyn Monroe.

Not so fast. The latest word from AMC River Park Square Theatres is that the film is NOT opening.

“My Week With Marilyn,” which is based on the experiences that Monroe had working on the 1957 film “The Prince and the Showgirl,” has been on the schedule for weeks now. But for one reason or another, the film keeps getting pulled. Now, according to the theater, it’s supposed to open on Christmas Day.

So don’t expect to see it tomorrow. Bummer.
