Monday = Maximum Enjoyment

Maxed Out Mondays make the first day of the work week suck a whole lot less.

Max serves up amazing drinks every night of the week, but on Mondays they knock $3 off the price of selected martinis. Also I think they sling $2 domestics and $3 micros, but don’t quote me on that … I’m having trouble remembering the fine print, thanks to my first Maxed Out Monday experience (which took place last night).

I ordered the Oatmeal Cookie — a lovely concoction of Jagermeister, Irish Cream liqueur, Goldschlager, Bols Butterscotch and a splash of half & half. The bartender slid it across the bar and said, “Whoo. That one’s a beast.”

And that’s pretty much the last detail I remember clearly.
