The ‘Mission’ was barely possible

Turns out a lot of people have stolen our family tradition of seeing a movie on Christmas Day. House No. 12 at AMC’s River Park Square Theatres was full for today’s 1 p.m. showing of “Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol.” I’m just grateful street parking was available so that I didn’t have to apply for a second mortgage just to afford the mall parking fees. And did you notice that I wasn’t the only one using my phone during the pre-screening ads?

Oh, and how was the movie? Just the thing for a slow afternoon. My wife (who is NOT Tricia Jo) thought it was too long. I, though, think it’s just as long as it needs to be — even if it does star Tom Cruise.
