These 10 win Hollywood’s 2010 popularity contest

As today is the last day of 2010, it’s fitting to look at the movies that made the most money over the course of the year. According to Box Office Mojo , the Top 10 moneymakers were:

1. “Toy Story 3” ($415 million)

2. “Alice in Wonderland” ($334 million)

3. “Iron Man 2” ($312 million)

4. “Twilight: Eclipse” ($301 million)

5. “Inception” ($293 million)

6. “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows: Part 1” ($279 million)

7. “Despicable Me” ($251 million)

8. “”Shrek Forever After” ($238 million)

9. “How to Train Your Dragon” ($218 million)

10. “The Karate Kid” ($177 million)
