A Mam-o-Tini for Mom!!!

So tomorrow is my Mom’s birthday. I could go on and on about what an awesome woman she is. I could talk for days about all the ways she’s encouraged and supported me. I could fill a book with countless examples of her strength and selflessness.

Instead, I’m going to buy her a drink. A pink drink. A drink that makes people feel good. A drink that’s beautiful. A drink that sends people home with a little something special. A drink that helps other women, just because it can. I figure it’s pretty much my Mom in a glass. And I’m going to celebrate it.

Tomorrow night (from 5ish to 8ish) is the Every Woman Can patio party at Stir . They’ll be serving up pretty pink Mam-o-Tinis (Absolut Berri Acai Vodka with cranberry juice and a splash of homemade sour) for just $7. Half of each Mam-o-Tini purchase will go to Every Woman Can, and you go home with a super cool glass! Plus Stir will give $2 from every appetizer sold during the party (they have crazy amazing apps … so eat, and give a little!) to EWC. Oh, DJ3D will be spinning tunes and giving away prizes, too.

It’s a lovely thing. And I think it’s a wonderful way to celebrate my amazing Mom. (Actually, it’s a pretty great way for all of us to celebrate the fantastic women in our lives … you should come raise a glass!)
