You got the brass ring, baby!
Kegan graduates high school today! I knew this day would come. Somehow I thought I’d be better prepared. But I suppose it’s more important for Kegan to be prepared at this point, isn’t it?
Our latest trip to
Riverfront Park
went a long way toward easing my anxieties. Despite the obligatory teenager shenanigans, we’ve raised a good kid. He’s smart. He’s funny. He’s compassionate and kind. And, as this photo clearly illustrates, he knows how to reach out and grab opportunity before it passes him by. He’s gonna be fine.
To you, my boy, I wish a world filled with wonder. A lifetime filled with love, laughter and learning. A future brighter than you can even imagine. You are my greatest challenge. You are my most amazing accomplishment. You are going to change the world. And I am going to be right here cheering for you, and reminding you to eat your vegetables.
