Happiness, courtesy of Mother Nature
They weren’t there when I got to work. There was nothing out there but a winter’s worth of cripy brown leaves, tangled in last year’s undergrowth.
But when I got up from my desk and walked past the window at the end of the afternoon, there they were. Unexpected shots of color poking through the dirt, reaching to the sparse sunlight.
I was giddy. I hopped around. I giggled. I called a friend over to admire the view. We squealed and laughed at each other’s excitement.
Spring is in the air. Get ready.
