So, THAT’S what they mean by Quicktime!
You’ve likely heard of the 48-Hour Film Festival . Well, get ready for a festival that does it two hours longer, 50 Hour Slam: Inland Northwest Film Festival .
Yes, beginning April 1, teams of filmmakers will have 50 hours to write, shoot and edit three-to-six-minute-long films to compete in the festival. The top 15, as chosen by a panel of judges, will move on to screenings at the Magic Lantern Theatre .
Not that it matters, but I’ll be one of those judges. And, yes, I like lots of explosions, gratuitous sex and any and all references to Javier Bardem.
