Nice racks

OK, so I’m a little slow. Apparently eight of these zippy bike racks have been perking up the International District since last fall.

But it wasn’t until this morning, as I drove down East Sprague, cursing the drizzly day, that they caught my eye. Curvy and cute and bright enough to lift the spirits. In fact, if my hair weren’t prone to irreparable helmet damage, I probably would have felt inspired to find a bike of my own and whiz to work on two wheels.

OK, maybe not. But they made me smile, and that counts for something.
