Just call it ‘Hobo With a Big Apple’

I wrote below about a double grindhouse-type feature that I and a couple of other guys enjoyed at my friend Dan Fratini’s house. The films were Robert Rodriguez’s “Machete,” starring Danny Trejo , and the improbably titled “Hobo With a Shotgun.”

And so what film do I find playing in New York on my current visit? The Rutget Hauer vehicle “Hobo With a Shotgun,” of course.

The New York Daily News critic gave it all of one star. And even that might be a bit generous.
