Yeah, if God created a salad, I’m pretty sure there’d be meat on it. This one, the Bistro Steak Salad at Twigs, is a bowlful of mixed baby greens and romaine tossed with feta cheese, tomato wedges (not for me), red onions and roasted cashews tossed with a balsamic vinaigrette. Then it’s topped with tender beef pieces sauteed in Worcestershire and garlic.
Heavenly. Especially when washed down with an Apple Pie Martini. Downright sinful when washed down with three Apple Pie Martinis. Yes, I know firsthand.
