I didn’t even miss the graham cracker crust

Friday afternoon I shared a table at the downtown Twigs with a Crazy Cat Lady, Robin Hood, an Angel whose halo came off after one drink and a Golfer in uncomfortable yet delightfully adorable plaid shoes. Keeping company like this makes me happy.

Keeping a steady stream of Pumpkin Pie Martinis coming to the table makes me wish this season lasted all year. My new favorite way to stay warm as the temps drop? Sipping Fireball Whiskey, vodka — I think it was Whipped Cream flavor — and pumpkin puree.
