Nothing like pizza on a sunny Easter afternoon

Not much of an Easter brunch guy. So when I asked my brother where he wanted to go for Easter lunch, he said, “Pizza.” And so we drove up Northwest Boulevard, to The Flying Goat, where we sat outdoors, enjoying the first bit of sun in what seems like a century.

It was too early for beer, so  I ordered lemonade. And after a couple of salads, we ordered a Gordon (pictured above), which was a combination of Zoe’s pepperoni, Italian sausage, kalamata olives, oven roasted mushrooms, house cheese blend and red sauce on a thin, crispy crust. And, yeah, it was delicious.

It’s been a long time since Spokane boasted more than one decent pizza place. And if I ever make it back to South Perry Pizza , I might be able to enjoy another one.
