Vote your conscience

Please consider the following before you vote.

How many times have we seen people running for public office, liked what they stood for politically and their approach to government, but thought they could not be elected? In general elections this most likely is the case, but primary elections are different.

Vote your conscience in the primary election. Vote for the person whom you think is the best person for the office regardless of their electability in the general election. Who knows, the candidate you selected in the primary election may garner enough votes to be a viable candidate in the general election. Primary elections are the best place to bring about change in government policies.

Remember, if the candidate you voted for in the primary election does not qualify for the general election, you still get another bite of the apple in the general election even though you may not find the other candidates as desirable.

The public elects the government they deserve. The only winners and losers in an election are the public.
