Life atop Sugarloaf is a sweet experience

I’ve told the Webmasters who oversee this blog that they should add a Travel & Leisure section. It would be a lot more accurate for the posts I’ve been making lately than anything more specific, such as Outdoors & Recreation or Visual Arts or even Arts & Culture - though, to a certain extent, all apply.

Thus, the photo accompanying this post. It’s of Rio de Janeiro from the top of Sugarloaf Mountain , one of the city’s most scenic sites. Thing is, most shots you see are OF the mountain. We took a cable car (actually two cable cars) and took photos FROM the mountain.

This came after we shared a Brahma beer at the top, which my friend Buck Sterling suggested that we do. And what they say is true: Everything goes better with a Brahma.

At least I think they say that. If not, they should.
