If you’re into book signings, and you like supporting local authors, you can do both at once today at Auntie’s Bookstore . Miles Athey, author of “Crab Creek Chronicles: The Beginning,” will be signing copies of his book at Auntie’s this afternoon between 1 and 3 p.m. And while you’re there, check out the other bargains the store has to offer. I dropped by the other day and picked up a copy of “How It Ends: From You to the Universe” by Chris Impey, a professor of astronomy at the University of Arizona.

Yeah, I’m trying to figure out whether there will be any future beyond 2012.
