Wine fortified our First Night prowl

Looking back at Saturday night’s First Night festivities, the best way we found to prepare for everything was to start at Arbor Crest Wine Cellars in River Park Square. I sucked down a glass of Sangiovese, while Mary Pat — as you can see — chose a tasty Cabernet. Then we headed for Riverfront Park, which was rocking.

Come to think of it, though, that Arbor Crest spot is handy. Maybe some wine is just the thing to get me through the next crappy Hollywood movie I choose to sit through.
