All the news that fits they print
No one is a bigger fan of the New York Times than my wife. In an era that sees more and more people reading their news on computers, tablets or even their phones, she has remained true to the NYT’s print edition. Until recently, that is. If you look at the attached photo, you’ll see the purchase price: $2.50.
For a single edition of a Wednesday-morning newspaper? Seriously? Even a national newspaper, one that has won more Pulitzers than lawsuits facing Rupert Murdoch , isn’t worth two and a half bucks. So Mary Pat has reluctantly turned to her iPad.
“Except for Thursday and Friday,” she says. “Those are fashion and the arts.”
Pay attention New York Times. Or … maybe you are.
