When it’s time to run with the wolves
Sometimes I need fresh inspiration to get out there and log a few more miles. Updated tunes on the ipod, a new pair of shoes, a few extra pounds to run away. Or a zip-up tyvek wolf-print jacket.
Saturday afternoon Amanda and I strolled up Perry Street (after a rib-sticking breakfast with Michelle at the Perry Street Cafe — hence the few extra pounds referenced above) and walked into Windfall Thrift Store. Besides having amazing prices ($2 shoes; $1 sweatshirts; $2.50 jeans; $6 winter coats; BOGO $1 books …) and friendly ladies at the front counter, they have zingers that’ll separate you from the pack (hence the awesomeness referenced in the photo).
