A West Central Gem
You might not know it by looking, but inside this unassuming building you’ll not only find a great little cafe that serves up soups, salads and sammies with a smile, you’ll also discover a market that features fresh cuts of meat (butchered on-site every day) and a small selection of healthy grocery choices (plus, probably a box of Pop Tarts).
I travel through the West Central neighborhood on the way to my day job. Imagine how jazzed I was when the Monkey Business Cafe and Park Side Grocery opened late last summer … my days of trudging into the 7 Eleven for a Big Gulp or nachos were behind me! Now I can pop into Monkey Business for a latte on the way to the office or zip over for a turkey sandwich at lunchtime, and stop into Park Side on my way home to pick up fresh short ribs for dinner.
I love it when life gets easier.
