If you ever find yourself in Davenport …
the quaint little town in the middle of nowhere, not the magnificent hotel in the middle of downtown, make a stop at Edna’s Drive-In. We usually wrap up a weekend on Lake Roosevelt with a stop at this joint. The service is fast and friendly, and the food is just what you want after a couple of days away from civilization — cheesy burgers, golden fries and shakes so thick you might as well forget about it until at least half of your burger’s down the hatch. Do yourself a favor and ask them to hold the mayo and the special sauce, it’s just too much (you know I’m typically a condiment whore so I’m totally serious about this …).
Edna’s sits just at the East edge of town, on Highway 2.
