Egger’s has a stake in providing good steak

Of all the cuts of beef, a boneless ribeye is my favorite. I have a friend who runs cattle on a spread out near Sprague, and nothing beats the meat that he puts on the table. But if you are going to buy your meat, you can’t do much better than Egger’s Meats . It ain’t cheap, but it sure is tender and tasty.

I bought a half-dozen steaks for a cookout at my friend Dennis’, and he grilled them perfectly. Not a bad way to spend a Friday evening, just a few paces off Qualchan Creek, in the shadow of the western cliffs, and the smell of grilled beef wafting across the yard. And it all began at Egger’s.
